Collection of Personal Information

Sharp Corporation New Zealand collects personal information of persons entering its premises including name, email address, contact number and photographic image for enrolment in our biometric security system.

Use of Personal Information

Sharp Corporation New Zealand only uses your personal information for the purposes of ensuring the security of our premises.  If we do not collect your personal information, you may be denied access to a Sharp Corporation New Zealand branch office or required to undertake the manual visitor registration process at reception each time you access a branch office.

Disclosure of Personal Information

We will not disclose your personal information to any other organisation without your consent unless it:

• is reasonably necessary for enforcement of the criminal law or of a law imposing a pecuniary penalty.
• is directly related to the purpose for which the information was obtained.
• is required or authorised by law
• will prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to somebody's health.
